DEARBORN, Mich. -

Goodwill Industries has opened a new "upscale" style store just off of Michigan Avenue and Military.

The opening Saturday came after extensive negotiations with Dearborn officials over the quality of the stores merchandise.

Goodwill Industries invested $500,000 into the once-vacant building to make the store look like it’s "boutique."

The new store will employ 25 people.
