Grandparents of slain Westland teen call for justice

Jourdan Bobbish, Jacob Kudla found dead after being reported missing last week

WESTLAND, Mich. – "Now we've got to find who did this and put them away forever," says Mike Bobbish - the heartbroken and outraged grandfather of Jourdan Bobbish.

Jourdan, 17, and his best friend, 18-year-old Jacob Kudla, were found dead Friday in a field in Detroit. They had been reported missing the previous Sunday after leaving the home of Kudla's uncle.

Mike Bobbish says he is very upset that his grandson and his friend were taken away from their families in such a brutal way.

Each had been shot execution style in the head.

"It's unbelievable that something like that happens at all. To have it happen in your own family, it's just hard to realize. I just keep thinking I'm going to wake up out of a horrible nightmare here," he said.

Kathie Bobbish, Jourdan's grandmother, says she had warned her grandson of being aware while in Detroit.

"He had lost that sense of danger, the incredible danger that it could be that senseless and immediate," she said. "Just being as special as he felt he was, that wasn't enough to protect him."

2 men in custody for stealing from Kudla's car

Police found Jacob Kudla's car the day after they were reported missing in Detroit with its sound system removed.

Casey Green and Larry Anderson are charged with larceny and obstruction of justice for the crime.

Charges against Larry Anderson, 40, and Casey Green, 39, were announced Saturday.

The men said they found the car abandoned.

Green and Anderson are charged with tampering with evidence.

They are not charged in the teens' deaths.
