Former Gov. Jennifer Granholm plans to talk up her new book at an appearance in Ann Arbor.

"A Governor's Story: The Fight for Jobs and America's Economic Future" went on sale last week.

The Democrat is to promote it during a conversation and book signing Tuesday evening at the Michigan Theater in Ann Arbor.

Tickets to the event are $10, or $25 for admission and a copy of the book.

Granholm co-wrote "A Governor's Story" with her husband, Dan Mulhern. They focus on how the changes forced on Michigan can be examples of what the nation must do to compete in a global economy.

The former First Couple are now both teaching at the University of California at Berkeley.
