Hamtramck deli issues salad recall

18TH Street Deli in Hamtramck is recalling 118 pounds of julienne salad products because of bacteria contamination.
The salads included turkey, ham and hard-cooked eggs, which are believed to be contaminated with listeria monocytogenes.
The salads were produced on January 20, 2012and then distributed to retail stores in Michiganand vending companies in Indiana, Michigan, and Ohio.

9.25-ounce packages of "18th Street Deli Julienne Salad"
9.25-ounce packages of "18th Street Deli Julienne Salad Lite"
9.25-ounce packages of "Balanced Choice Julienne Salad Lite"
Establishment number of P-22061 inside the USDA mark of inspection
Expiration dates of 01/27/12and 01/30/12
18th StreetDeli was notified by one of its suppliers that their hard-cooked eggs had tested positive for listeria monocytogenes and are being recalled by Michael Foods Egg Products Co. There have been no reports of illness associated with the consumption of these products.
