Hat, scarf and gloves needed Monday and this week

Temps stuck in the 30s Monday

Andrew Humphrey!

DETROIT – Monday morning will be dry for commuters and students going back to work and school with their bellies full from the Thanksgiving Weekend.  Temps will begin in the cold 20s with some clouds overhead.  The afternoon will be partly sunny and colder than average with highs in the upper 30s so kids and parents alike will need to layer up.

Monday night will be mostly cloudy and cold with lows in the 20s, again.  A storm system will scoot south of Michigan bringing snow to the Ohio Valley and the Appalachians.

Tuesday and the rest of the week will remain cold.  But it will be dry and just perfect for washing the car or hanging Christmas and holiday decorations.  Daytime temps will be near 35 degrees Tuesday then closer to 40 degrees the rest of the week.
