Huge flames break out on Detroit’s east side

Fire officials are not sure what caused the fire

DETROIT -

Detroit firefighters are investigating the cause of a large house fire on the city’s east side.

The flames broke out just before 3 Monday morning on Marion Street near Maxwell Avenue. When fire officials arrived, flames were shooting through the roof of the home.

The home was vacant and no one was injured. So far there is no word on what caused the fire.
