An Inksterjudge was in court on Tuesday, but not in her own courtroom.
Suspended Inkster Judge Sylvia James was in 20th District Court in Dearborn Heights for a pretrial hearing.
James is facing embezzlement charges after being accused of misusing judicial funds to buy personal items.
She was suspended this past year pending the outcome of this case.
