DETROIT – The jury in the trial of former Detroit mayor Kwame Kilpatrick will be back to deliberating on Wednesday.
There were no verdicts reached Tuesday as deliberations began in the federal corruption trial against Kilpatrick, his father Bernard Kilpatrick and his friend Bobby Ferguson.

Together, the trio faces a total of more than 30 counts ranging from extortion to mail fraud. Jurors must consider each charge and the vast amount of evidence presented at the trial.
Court watchers say it could be weeks before the verdicts are decided.
