A Detroit man who caused a fatal crash after fleeing police has been found guilty of second-degree murder.
The Wayne County prosecutor's office says a circuit court jury reached its verdict Tuesday against Edward Darden.
Darden was 18 when the pickup truck he was driving hit a car driven by 38-year-old Rebecca Feijoo on Detroit's southwest side. Feijoo was killed and her passenger was injured.
The accident occurred March 9. Darden was arrested April 12.
The jury also found him guilty of reckless driving and leaving the scene of an accident.
He faces up to life in prison when he's sentenced Jan. 15.
