DETROIT -

The federal corruption trial against former Detroit mayor Kwame Kilpatrick and others will continue Thursday after a week off.

Before the holiday break, Kilpatrick's former assistant Marc Cunningham took the stand. He testified he gave cash kickbacks to Kilpatrick's father, Bernard Kilpatrick, who is among the defendants in the trial.
