The final Michigan Borders book store is closing Friday.
According to the company's Facebook page, which lists all its store closing dates, the only store left in Michigan is the Southgate location on Eureka Road.
It opened at 10 a.m. and will close when everything is gone. Everything in the store is being sold at 90 percent off.
The company was formed in 1971 by University of Michigan students Tom and Louis Border in Ann Arbor. It filed for bankruptcy in February. The company's flagship Ann Arbor store closed earlier this week.
