Rochester-based Leader Dogs for the Blind received two recent donations totaling $2 million.
One of the donors is remaining anonymous and is from the Detroit area.
The other donation is in the form of a grant from the local Edward T. and Ellen K. Dryer Foundation.
The foundation provides an internship program for graduate-level orientation & mobility (O&M) students.
The foundation also funds an O&M professional at Leader Dogs for the Blind which allows the organization to increase the number of clients by 30-35 people each year.
