Local 4 is looking for interns
Published On: Oct 17 2011 03:18:23 PM EDT Updated On: Jan 30 2006 04:11:03 AM ESTThe Post-Newsweek Stations internship program is designed to augment the educational development of those studying for careers in broadcasting by creating opportunities for students to gain experience in a station's day-to-day operations.
Requirements
Participants must:
Be at least 18 years of age.
Be enrolled in an accredited college or university.
Be majoring in communication, journalism, broadcast production techniques, business administration, marketing or some other field having a direct relationship to broadcasting
Be classified at least "junior" when internship begins.
Be seeking course credits or their equivalent (such as master's thesis.)Programming, Promotion, News, and Sales Internships
