A Livonia man has been killed in a snowmobile accident in northern Lower Michigan.
The Cheboygan County sheriff's department says Robert Bennett hit a pressure crack on Burt Lake during a snowstorm on Friday. The 56-year-old lost control of the snowmobile, which rolled over and ejected him.
According to authorities, Bennett was taken to McLaren Hospital in Petoskey where he died.
