Dearborn Heights police said Mohsen Aluglah was shot and killed Sept. 14 in his home on Brooklawn Street.

Police said Ray is accused of going into Aluglah's home with an accomplice and robbing him, his wife and brother at gunpoint before fatally shooting Aluglah in the neck.

"Why do you need to shoot someone when you took what you want from them? said Aluglah's cousin, Muntadher Aljabery.

Aljabery said Aluglah's brother was visiting from overseas.

"He came all the way from Iraq to visit his brother and he was there one night and his brother dies before his eyes. He says, 'I wish I never came.' That's what he just told me," Aljabery said.

The Wayne County Prosecutor's Office said it was still pursuing a warrant for Ray's accomplice.
