Man arrested in smash-and-grab in Lathrup Village
Police say suspect caught after busting through Allied Cash Advance, taking off with money

A man is behind bars following an early Wednesday morning break-in in Lathrup Village.
It happened just before 3 a.m. at the Allied Cash Advance in the 2800 block of Southfield Road.
Police said the suspect broke through a glass door to the business and took off with an unknown amount of money.
After a brief foot chase, the suspect was caught and arrested.
Police are still investigating if other suspects were involved.
