Man charged with armed robbery now faces hit-and-run charge in Oak Park

A 22-year-old Royal Oak who already faces charges for an armed robbery in Oak Park now faces more charges for a deadly hit-and-run in the same city.

Eric Brown is accused of robbing a woman at knifepoint last month outside an Oak Park grocery store. Police who impounded his car noticed it matched the description of a car wanted in connection to a deadly hit-and-run in April, not far from where the armed robbery occurred.

That has led to prosecutors charging Brown with fleeing the scene of a deadly accident.
