Man charged with assault after road rage incident in Farmington Hills

Steven Schut charged with aggravated assault, possession of marijuana for fight on Orchard Lake Road

FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. – A 52-year-old man has been charged with aggravated assault for a road rage incident last week in Farmington Hills.

On the evening of Aug. 25, police said a Pontiac Firebird allegedly cut off another driver on Orchard Lake Road. The two pulled into a BP gas station at Orchard Lake and 13 Mile roads, where they got out of their cars and got into a physical fight.

Steven Schut, 52, was stopped and arrested. He is charged with both aggravated assault and possession of marijuana.
