DEARBORN -

Dearborn police closed eastbound Ford Road at the Southfield Freeway while officers investigated a crash which left a man critically injured Wednesday night.

The man was taken to Oakwood Hospital where he is in critical condition. He was crossing the road when he was struck, police say.

Ford Road reopened about 11 p.m.
