DETROIT -

Detroit police say a man is dead after a shooting in a home on the city's west side.

Police said Wednesday morning the man was killing in the 16800 block of Washburn Street, near Wyoming and West McNichols.

A woman was also shot and was taken to Sinai-Grace Hospital, police said. Her condition wasn't immediately known.
