Man with Alzheimer's left Farmington Hills home Thursday, hasn't been back
Wife of 79-year-old Howard Koss says she thinks he forgot where home is since they recently moved
Howard and Judy Koss have been happily married for the past 25 years.
However, on Thursday morning, Howard took the car keys, the couple's dogs and has not been seen since.
"I spoke to him at 11 o'clock. I spoke to him at 2 o'clock, and I did not hear from him again," Judy said.
Howard, 79, has been diagnosed with Alzheimer's for the past four years. With a recent move to their Farmington Hills home, Judy thinks Howard simply forgot where home is.
"We lived in another home. We've checked the other home. The police have checked the other home. We checked the home before that. Just about anything I can think of. I even called an old girlfriend of his," Judy said.
Howard's credit card was traced to a Speedway gas station about 8 p.m. Thursday. Surveillance video from the station shows Howard's black Lincoln Town Car and Howard, wearing a black puffy vest and leaving the station's checkout. It's the last place he has been spotted. Unfortunately, his cellphone is off.
"I miss him a lot. I need him to come home safe," Judy said.
