DETROIT -

Rain and thundershowers continue to be heaviest well north of Detroit, but expect periods of rain to continue through the morning and part of Saturday afternoon.

The steadiest rain will be more likely east of I-75 with scattered rain west and staying cooler.

With clouds and rain, temperatures will struggle Saturday around 70 degrees. A few cloud breaks will bring highs in the mid 70s with strong breezes.

Wind will blow from the northwest 10-20 mph with a few stronger gusts.

Sunday will be the nicer of the weekend days with sunshine returning and highs rebounding to near 80 degrees.
