Police search for home invader who stole electronics, SUV
A mother and her daughter confronted a man Tuesday night who had broken into their home on Grandview Drive in Pittsfield Township.
Maria Rodriguez and her mother Sarah Rodriguez were down the street shopping at a nearby Walgreens when a man broke into their home. They arrived in time to catch him in the act.
The couple entered their garage and saw a man standing in the kitchen. He started to flee the home in the Rodriguez's new Ford Escape that he had loaded with items from the home, including electronics such as a TV and computer.
The women tried to stop the man. They grabbed his arm through the driver's side window, but he threatened to shoot them.
They did not get a solid description for police to go on. However, police were searching for the man.
