Neighborhood loses power after car hits pole

WARREN, Mich. -

An entire neighborhood lost power after a car hit a power pole in Warren.

The accident happened on Hoover Road between Martin and I-696. The single SUV accident happened Wednesday night but crews were still cleaning up Thursday morning.

According to DTE Energy, the power in the neighborhood was restored around 4 a.m. Thursday.

Warren police say the driver was transported to a local hospital. His condition is unknown.

Police are still investigating the cause of the accident.
