New Baltimore police looking for 2 in connection with stolen trailer, classic car

Thieves get away with 1937 Fiat Topolino from Richard's Auto Parts on 23 Mile Road

NEW BALTIMORE, Mich. – New Baltimore police are looking for two people in connection with the theft of a trailer and classic car from Richard's Auto Parts last week.

Police said a white 30-foot classic double axel enclosed trailer was stolen the night of June 14 from the auto shop on 23 Mile Road.

The trailer had a rare purple and silver 1937 Fiat Topolino car in it.

Through surveillance video, police said they've been able to come up with the pictures of two persons of interest.

Persons of interest descriptions

  • White man, possibly Hispanic, 25 to35 years of age with a heavy build, wearing a black T-shirt and black shorts.
  • White woman, 25 to 35 years of age, brown hair, average build, wearing black t-shirt, blue jean capris, glasses and a necklace.
  • Vehicle of Interest: 2000-2006 Ford F250/350 extended cab with chrome running boards and a tonneau cover over the bed. The vehicle is dark in color (green, charcoal grey, black, ect.)
