Police say suspect pointed gun at officers; Officer fire shot but no one hit
No one was hurt Wednesday morning when gunfire rang out during a confrontation between police and a suspect on Detroit’s east side.
Police said officers were investigating the suspect when he ran into a house on Woodhall Street and then started crawling out a back window.
Police said the suspect pointed a gun at officers and one of the officer’s fired – but no one was hit.
The suspect was taken into custody.
Police didn’t immediately elaborate on why they were investigating the suspect.
