Oakland County To Adjust Sheriff's Contract With Pontiac

PONTIAC, Mich. – Oakland County executive L. Brooks Patterson said Wednesday in a news release that the county will propose amendments to its sheriff's contract with Pontiac to protect county taxpayers should that city file for Chapter 9 bankruptcy.

The amendments will be proposed Wednesday night during a Board of Commissioners meeting following the executive's budget message.

The meeting will be held in the Board of Commissioners Auditorium.
