DETROIT -

Wednesday morning will be partly cloudy, mild and dry with lows in the 60s.  Another beautiful Summer afternoon will develop with partly sunny skies  and highs in the middle 80s and a northeast wind 5 to 10 mph.  It will be great for swimming before rain arrives for the end of the week.

A blanket of clouds will drape Southeast Michigan keeping overnight lows in the upper 60s.  Showers will develop by dawn.

Thursday will have a chance of showers and thunderstorms, and the clouds will keep daytime temps below 80 degrees most of the day.  Showers will linger on Friday with highs in the 70s.

The weekend will remain cooler than average as sunshine returns late Saturday and Sunday.
