Plymouth police receive reports about 'suspicious' man following students to bus stop

Police say 3 separate incidents reported of man seen near bus stop at Gilbert, Morgan streets

PLYMOUTH TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Plymouth Township police say they have increased patrols in one area of the city after three separate reports of a "suspicious" man following female high school students from their homes to a bus stop.

Police said the incidents happened in the last week near Haggerty Road and Ann Arbor Trail, when a man reportedly followed the students to a bus stop at Gilbert and Morgan.

All of the incidents happened between 6 a.m. and 6:20 a.m. and the man fled on foot, police said.

Police didn't have a detailed description of the man but said he was white, between 40 and 50 years old, tall, thin and with possibly sandy brown hair.
