Police in the Flint area say two teenage boys are suspected in vandalism at a church that could cost as much as $15,000 to repair.
The Flint Journal and WEYI-TV report the vandalism at Trinity Assembly of God church in Genesee County's Mount Morris Township included broken windows and doors. Police say church buses had expletives written on them and windows broken out, and a vending machine was emptied.
Pastor Larry Alverson says: "It just breaks my heart."
Police say the teens appeared to have tried to light the garage holding the buses on fire. They were arrested Saturday after they fled and police followed a trail of candy wrappers and drink cans to a nearby home. One was jailed pending charges and the other was released to his mother.
