Police say an 11-year-old boy has died after falling into a lake in Genesee County while playing on an inflatable bouncer.

The Flint Journal reports the boy was pulled Sunday night from Marl Lake in Fenton Township, about 40 miles northwest of Detroit.

Police say he was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead. His name wasn't immediately released.

Police say the boy had been playing with another 11-year-old when he disappeared under the water.

The missing child was found by a police dive team.
