DETROIT -

Ferndale police chased a driver through the city on Wednesday.

The chase began in Madison Heights before police had to stop it.

However, the truck was spotted in Ferndale where police gave chase again.

The truck led patrol cars through residential and business districts.

Video from the chase shows the truck making sharp turns at high speeds through alleys and streets.

Police had to stop the chase again for safety.

However, the truck was found again, but this time with a woman driving it at a gas station in Hazel Park.

The woman said her husband, David Alan Jones, was the man who led officers on the wild chases.

Jones was arrested at the family home.
