Police reviewing evidence in Royal Oak murder

Police will spend holiday weekend building case

ROYAL OAK, Mich. – Royal Oak Police will be spending the holiday weekend reviewing evidence and building their case against two suspects in the murder of 80-year-old Nancy Dailey.

The evidence may include a knife, which was found Wednesday night in the Woodward Avenue median near 12 Mile Road.

Tonia Watson and Alan Wood are jailed in Royal Oak for parole violations. Police believe the two murdered the woman during a robbery.

No charges have yet been filed.
