DETROIT -

In a poll conducted by Public Policy Polling, Ann Arbor was rated the most popular city in Michigan by state residents.

The poll asked respondents to rate the popularity of Gov. Rick Snyder, state representatives and senators in Washington, the state legislature and their favorite city in Michigan.

Grand Rapids is ranked second most popular behind Ann Arbor and Lansing is third.

Flint is the least popular city in the state, according to the poll, and Detroit was found favorable by 28 percent of respondents and unfavorable by 50 percent.
