A judge has sentenced two Detroit men to prison for the torture, dismemberment and killing of a man and woman whose bodies were found in a burning car.
Wayne County Circuit Judge Thomas Jackson sentenced the men Tuesday after plea deals that they reached with prosecutors earlier this month.
He sentenced 25-year-old Jason Miller to 25 to 52 years in prison for second-degree murder and having a firearm during a felony.
Twenty-six-year-old Terrance Griggs received a sentence of 12 to 42 years in prison on the charges.
Detroit firefighters found the bodies in a car April 29, 2012.
The body of Michael Bostick was in the trunk, and that of Kyra Jordan was in the back seat, they were kidnapped and tortured.
Police said a third victim was able to escape.
Crime Stoppers offered a $1,000 reward for information that leads to the capture of a third man believed to an accomplish to the murders.
Keith Anthony Williams is also accused of the killings, police continue to search for him.
