Volunteers will join members of the Detroit Police Department and representatives from the Home Depot Foundation for the culmination of a precinct beautification project.

Results of the project will be revealed Friday afternoon at the combined 6th and 8th Precincts on Warwick Street in Northwest Detroit.

The Home Depot Foundation earlier this year awarded the 6th and 8th Precincts a monetary gift to kick off the project.

Community volunteers assisted in the effort.
