Paul Gross here in the weather office this morning. A fast moving cold front will give us some snow between now and noon. Although there may be a brief period where the snow intensity picks up, I'm only expecting about an inch of snow overall, with just a small chance for slightly more than that, especially from Detroit southward. Sunshine and wind will increase dramatically behind the front, with wind gusts this afternoon easily between 30 and 40 mph. You'll definitely notice the wind this afternoon, which will make today's high in the mid-to-upper 30s feel much colder. You'll then have dry conditions with diminishing wind for your Saturday evening plans. Another little system will cross the area on Sunday with perhaps another inch of snow possible, and a high near 30. A warm front then approaches early next week, with temperatures back into the 40s by Tuesday!
