DETROIT -

Early morning showers and thunderstorms vanish by Tuesday's sunrise with temperatures in the low 60s.  Tuesday afternoon will be warm but more comfortable with a northwest wind bringing drier air to the Motor City Area.  The highs will be near 80 degrees.  Breezes will be 12 to 18 mph.

Tuesday night will be fair and cooler with lows in the low 50s.
Wednesday will be mild and mostly sunny with highs near 75.

The weather will heat up the rest of the week and lawns will remain parched.  Highs on Thursday will be in the upper 70s.  It will be in the low 80s Friday.  Father's Day Weekend will be much warmer with highs well in the 80s to near 90 degrees.  An ice-cold glass of water or lemonade may be the best Fathers' Day gift.
