Suspected Macomb County serial robber confesses, police say

Chesterfield police say Steven Champine admits to 5 robberies

CHESTERFIELD, Mich. – Chesterfield police said a man has confessed to committing a series of armed robberies in Macomb County.

Police said Steven Paul Champine, 55, told them he robbed the H.Q. Dry Cleaners on Gratiot Avenue last weekend at gunpoint and also confessed to four other robberies.
