Thief forces Burger King drive-thru window open, steals from donation jar

The Washtenaw County Sheriff's Office said someone pried open the drive-through window of a Burger King in Ypsilanti Township overnight and stole from a donation jar that was inside.

The theft was reported Tuesday morning at the fast food restaurant at 823 East Michigan Avenue.

The Sheriff's Office said the thief stole coins from a donation jar and then took off.

They didn't release a description.
