Tigers "Pink out the Park" to honor breast cancer survivors

Tigers host a special pregame ceremony honoring survivors of breast cancer

DETROIT – The Tigers will "Pink out the Park" on Wednesday during their game against the Indians to honor breast cancer survivors.

A special pregame ceremony will feature representatives from the Barbara Ann Karmanos Cancer Institute and survivors.

The event also supports breast cancer awareness.

The first 10,000 fans to enter the ballpark will receive a special pink rally towel, courtesy of Kroger, according to a press release.

Comerica Park will also feature pink decorations throughout the ballpark and all fans attending the game are encouraged to wear their pink in honor of "Pink out the Park".
