Traffic moving again on I-696 after semi crash

One eastbound lane remains closed

Accident on I-696 in Oak Park
OAK PARK, Mich. -

A semi-truck accident closed I-696 in Oak Park at Greenfield for hours Saturday morning.

According to police all lanes are open except for the left lane on the eastbound side of I-696. This lane will be closed until further median repair is completed Saturday afternoon.

The semi crashed into the center dividing wall, and became lodged in a teetering position on the dividing wall.
