Truck with load of pigs catches fire on I-696 in Warren; no reports of injuries

WARREN, Mich. -

A truck carrying pigs caught fire Wednesday afternoon on Interstate 696 near Hoover Road in Warren.

Firefighters doused flames which seemed to be contained to the truck's cab. Traffic was blocked in the two right lanes of westbound I-696.

There are no reports of injuries. The pigs also were not injured.
