(CNN) -- One skier died in an avalanche outside controlled-area booundaries of Revelstoke Mountain Resort in British Columbia, a spokesman for the Royal Canadian Mounted Police told CNN. Two other skiers, who were buried in the avalanche, were rescued by members of their party, said Cpl. Dan Moskaluk.
