(CNN) -- Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu apologized Friday to Turkey's prime minister for the Israeli commando attack on a Gaza-bound flotilla three years ago that killed eight Turks, two U.S. senior administration officials told reporters traveling with President Barack Obama in the Middle East.
