University of Michigan-Flint gets $900,000 federal grant to support nursing students
Money will cover tuition, other costs related to graduate school

The University of Michigan-Flint is getting a $900,000 federal grant to help offer scholarships for economically disadvantaged nursing students.
MLive.com reports the program will provide $15,000 awards for four years to 15 students. The school says the money will cover tuition and other costs related to graduate school.
Other federal funding is expected to go to different nursing programs around the U.S. for similar efforts.
