Police at the University of Michigan say in recent months, there have been anonymous or second-hand reports of students' drinks being drugged by others.
Police say a student recently reported to the Ann Arbor Police that she may have been drugged while attending an off-campus fraternity party.
The student said she was given several drinks at the party and then vomited and blacked out afterwards.
The victim says she was not assaulted.
Police tips for students:
Do not take drinks from unknown people.
Report any possible drugging incidents to police as soon as possible to preserve evidence. Timely reporting is essential.
Police say the prosecution of underage drinking is not the desired outcome of the police department, don't be afraid to report incidents.
Trust your intuition -- if a particular situation makes you feel uncomfortable or unsafe, alert authorities.
