In fact, 95% of people report they regularly surf the internet, watch TV or text someone in the hour before going to sleep. Not only can that time spent on gadgets be distracting, but it can make falling asleep even harder once you close your eyes. This damage to your sleep cycle can lead to sleep loss that affects your mental awareness and physical well-being.

- More than 75% of Americans are connected to the internet with some type of mobile device.
- 1 in 3 smartphone users are willing to give up sex with their partners to keep their phones.
