DETROIT -

The 83rd Midsummer Classic is less than a month away, but Detroit Tigers fans still have time to send Miguel Cabrera, Prince Fielder and all their favorite Tigers to Kansas City to represent Detroit in the All-Star game on July 10.  Fans can vote at Comerica Park until June 21st or at tigers.com until June 28th.

Miguel Cabrera ranks among the American League leaders in batting average, hits, doubles, home runs and RBI.  Cabrera could become the first Tigers third baseman to start the All-Star game since Ray Boone did so in 1954.  It would be Cabrera's seventh career All-Star game and his third since joining the Tigers.

Prince Fielder ranks among American League leaders in batting average, hits and RBI while batting cleanup in his first season with the team.  He still needs more support to send him to represent the Tigers in Kansas City.  It would be his fourth career All-Star game and his first as part of the American League.
