WASHTENAW COUNTY, Mich. -

Police in Washtenaw County are working to determine if two car shootings are related to a third incident, all from Monday.

Bridgewater Township shootings:

Michigan State Police say two drivers reported being shot at and driven off the road in Bridgewater Township.

The shootings happened about 6 p.m. Monday on Austin Road between Schneider and Ernst roads.

Police say the first shooting happened to the driver of a pickup. The man from Manchester, Mich. was travelling west on Austin Road. 

An Adrian woman, who also was driving west on Austin Road, was shot at next, police say.

Police are not releasing the names of the drivers at this time citing witness security and there is no word if anyone was injured.

Troopers are meeting with Pittsfield Township police to investigate if a 3rd vehicle shooting is related.

Pittsfield Township shooting:

At about 6:15 p.m. Monday, a vehicle traveling westbound on Michigan Avenue east of Industrial Drive was stuck by a bullet in Pittsfield Township.

The driver, a 72-year-old woman who lives in the township, was not injured. Police say a bullet was found lodged in the driver side door of her car.

Man faces charges for roadway shootings across 4 Michigan counties

A man is accused of a series of shootings on and off Interstate 96 in southeast Michigan.

Raulie Casteel faces 60 charges in the case, including attempted murder, linked to shootings in Commerce Township and in Wixom. Casteel lived with his wife, daughter and in-laws in Wixom, 40 miles northwest of Detroit.
